Up to five people can sit inside of its comfortable and modern cabin. There's also a host of advanced technologies that will enhance your drive. One of the newer features of this SUV is that it will offer a host of advanced powertrains from gasoline-powered to hybrid. The return of the GTS trim is back in the lineup. Performance
The 2021 Porsche Cayenne is a road beast. The Cayenne S trim will come equipped with a 2.9-liter V6 that's twin-turbocharged. At 434 horsepower, this vehicle will blast from zero to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. The E-Hybrid trim is even more powerful with its 455-horsepower powertrain consisting of a turbocharged engine and electric motor. Up to 516 pound-feet of torque can be expected. There's also a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that produces at least 460 horsepower. Selectable Drive Modes are available as well as all-wheel drive.
Safety
Radar-based sensors are in high usage with this SUV. Detecting road hazards before they present themselves is the goal. Forward Collision Warning will detect if a front-end collision is imminent. Night vision via an infrared camera is also available. Other safety features included are Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross-Path Detection and Blind Spot Monitoring.
Technology
There's a 12.3-inch touchscreen display in the center dash that hosts many apps. The available Wi-Fi provides web surfing while on the go. The new Cayenne offers smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay. There's also a 14-speaker Bose system for top-tier audio. Consumers can expect a rear entertainment system that consists of dual 10.0-inch screens.
