Performance Features

Boerne and Schertz drivers who crave excitement will find two trim levels of the 2020 Porsche Taycan: The Turbo and Turbo S.  Both are stocked with two electric motors and all-wheel drive.  The Turbo hits a peak output of 670 horsepower, while the higher-trim Turbo S hits 750 horsepower.  A two-speed transmission makes your drive from Corpus Christi to Schertz smooth and athletic.

When you get a need for speed, the Taycan should deliver with a zero-to-60 time of 2.6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 162 mph.  The Porsche Taycan Turbo is expected to have an EPA range of 270 miles and 225 for the Taycan Turbo S.  There are four different driving modes: Range, Normal, Sport and Sport Plus.  Each adapt to any condition you might come across.

Interior Style

As soon as you open the door to the 2020 Porsche Taycan you will immediately know you are looking inside a Porsche.  It sits either four or five passengers inside the elegant cabin.  The roofline is lower than the iconic Porsche 911 but still provides plenty of headroom for those six-foot tall drivers. You'll be able to choose between monochrome or bi-colored leather, wood and metal trims.  A traditional or Sport-themed steering wheel will let you show off your personal style.

For comparison's sake, the Porsche Taycan is longer than the legendary Porsche 911 but shorter than the Panamera.  An exaggerated slope of the hood gives you a confident feeling of athleticism.  Quad-LED headlights give you a brilliant view of the road ahead, with a minimalist grille for optimum performance. A retractable spoiler is framed by an uninterrupted light strip.  A blend of aluminum and steel give the Taycan a strong but light frame.

Safety and Driver Assist Features

The Porsche Taycan provides automated emergency braking, lane keeping assist and forward collision warning.  There is a host of other driver assist and safety functions available, like the Porsche InnoDrive, which is an advanced adaptive cruise control system that adjusts for curves and works in tune with your navigation system.

  • Blind Spot Monitoring
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Front and Rear Parking Sensors

The cabin of the 2020 Porsche Taycan gives riders a unique experience.  That is apparent when you set eyes on the four massive screens set along a massive dash.  The curved driver display is a 16.8-inch monstrosity set atop the steering column.   It is the perfect focus to a dash full of high-tech features.

When you start looking for infotainment features, you won't be disappointed.  Satellite radio, Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay connectivity come standard and shine on the vibrant 10.9-inch touchscreen.  In fact, you'll have access to Apple Music support and the ability to stream Apple Music straight from your Taycan, without pairing your phone to the car.  You'll find a voice-activated assistant that can access vehicle settings, navigation and even adjust the LED ambient lighting.
